CityJet, Visit Flanders and Flanders Investment and Trade, today celebrated 25 years of flying direct from London City Airport to Antwerp.
The London City Airport route to Antwerp is 25 years in existence and business, trade and tourism representatives from Flanders marked the occasion with a reception in the heart of London.
CityJet commenced Antwerp operations in 2008, and recently celebrated carrying its 500,000th passenger, with an event at Antwerp International Airport.
CityJet operates up to four daily departures from London to Antwerp, offering a schedule tailored to suit both business and leisure travellers. Docklands Light Rail serves the airport and is just 25 minutes from the centre of London and only 15 minutes from Canary Wharf and the financial district.
The airline, in partnership with Visit Flanders and Flanders Investment and Trade, hosted a reception in Flanders House in Cavendish Square, central London, today. It was attended by a cross section of tourism, business, trade and aviation representatives.
